Time for the April edition of What to Wear.  Which makes me think that it's incredible that it's already April.  This year is flying by.  I'm okay with it though, as long as it means a bit more warmth and sunshine coming our way!

People are often afraid to wear patterns in their portraits, but when done right patterns can add a lot of interest and color.  I love these combinations:  one bold pattern, complimented by a few more subtle ones and coordinated colors pulled from the bold pattern. So don't run from patterns!  They can help you achieve the fabulous, cohesive look you want.

Outfit suggestions for a family shoot this month.  Winter is a good time for cool hues and lots of textures and it's a great idea to find coordinating outfits, not matching ones.  Don't you love those little girl boots!
