i {heart} faces: anything but a face

The details of our children's lives are so fleeting:  the blankies they can't live without, the tiny fingers holding onto tiny toys, small feet peddling fast through puddles and years.  I want to capture these details so that even long after my children have outgrown them, the memories will remain.

My son has almost outgrown this helmet, but I will always remember how he wore it to every football game that he went to, hand-in-hand, with his daddy.

Be sure to check out all the other Don't-Grow-Up-So-Fast entries!

Great shot!! My son wore a yellow hard hat for an entire summer. He even slept with it. I think the football helmet would have been even better!
